Fuse (09:00)

Set one night during a power outage, FUSE begins simply enough. A late-night encounter between a drunken father and his sleepy son.
However, contrary to pass behaviour it turns out that Edwards father Lem is in the mood for talking.
As pools of light define space, and blacks cloak all around, FUSE tries to catch the sense that for these few minutes, Lem and Edward, father and son, are the last two people alive.

A girl working in a mundane factory job decides she has had enough and walks out. Her journey takes her through a barren industrial landscape. This landscape is punctuated by broken windows, plastic bags hanging from trees and large noisy trucks. She manages to find beauty amid the ugliness however, picking a flower that grows by the side of the road, and contentment as she comes to rest at an old trailer she finds in a deserted piece of wasteland.

He grows accustomed to them, learns to live with them in his life and even likes them being there but then one day it occurs to him, what will he do if they leave?
