throughout the festival. It will include informal talks, music,
video library and more.

Directors/Writers/Collaborators/Animators/Artists/Actors/Anyone:
Fast Forward Ireland offers pre-registered groups of filmmakers (videomakers, actually) a chance to compete and make three minute movies overnight. We give the topic, you make the movie, we watch them all the next night and there's a high five for everyone who finishes. High fives are optional.

We'll be issuing the topics in FilmBase on Saturday June 24th at 4 pm.You must submit your movie to the organisers before 4 pm the next day (Sunday 25th) in the Irish Film Institute. We'll be showing the finished products for competition in Rogue Bar on Dame Street Sunday night from 8pm right after the festival.
Why? Because it is fun.
Who comes up with stuff like this? Sean and Atom in Chicago have been running this type of thing for years. They are good people and you can find out more about their operation at this address: www.fastforwardfilmfest.com . We thought it was high time Ireland got in on the act.
Who are "We"? "We" are mainly Andrew McAvinchey in Dublin , Thomas Yun, Sean and Atom in Chicago and the Renegade Arts Collective/Octopussy, who are all over the place.

festival this year we decided to invite an additional 100
filmmakers to be included for viewing at Film Base in the
Darklight Salon.
So come and sit on the oh so comfortable Budda Bags, relax
and choose films from the library and watch them at your leisure.
